Dr Marcela Ivanová
Dr Ivanová spent 18 years at the Children's Cardiac Centre of the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NÚSCH), where she focused mainly on the diagnosis and treatment of hypertension in children, both primary and secondary, and carried out consultant assessments of hypertensive crises at the children's university hospital in Bratislava. She also ran the outpatient clinic of the Children's Cardiac Centre, caring for children with congenital heart defects — diagnosis, treatment, referral for surgery and post-operative follow-up.
Alongside her clinical work she has published in medical journals and lectured at several major cardiology congresses.
Monika Lengyelová
Monika Lengyelová has extensive experience of working with children. She spent 6 years in the neonatal unit at NsP Staré Mesto in Bratislava and a further 7 years at the Ružinov polyclinic, in a dermatology clinic for children and adults. She then worked for 16 years as a paediatric nurse at the private paediatric practice Bambi s.r.o.
