24-hour blood pressure monitoring
-
The cuff on the arm inflates at regular intervals — roughly every 15 minutes during the day and every 30 minutes at night.
-
During each measurement your child should let the arm hang loosely and keep it still. If possible, they should stand still for a moment.
-
The device must not come into contact with water, so your child should not bathe or shower during monitoring.
-
The day should be as ordinary as possible — normal school and home activity, but no sports training.
-
Please tell us how your child slept during the night. Poor sleep can affect blood pressure.
